Provider’s October 2017 magazine featured an article from Align discussing the role leadership plays in creating a culture of engagement. Without the commitment, visible support and engagement of organizational leaders, it is very difficult to engage the hearts and minds of employees. It’s not sufficient for leaders to hug the sidelines and delegate employee engagement to others in the organization. When all is said and done, a disengaged workforce is the result of disinterested and/or detached leadership.
